How to worship ?

Make a place of worship by painting ocher on the wall on the day of Nag Panchami. Apart from this, also put a picture of Nag Devta at the entrance of your house. Nag Devta should be worshiped with fragrant flowers, lotus and sandalwood. Make kheer at home on this day and invite Brahmins to their home and feed them. Along with this, offer this food to God as well. After performing this religious ritual, this kheer is also taken as prasad. If there are snake charmers around you, give them milk and money.


Bhog and Samagri of Nag Pooja

Apart from this, on the day of Nagpanchami, a square shaped circle is made from cow dung at the door of the houses. The shape of a snake is engraved on it five times with ghee. For this, make this shape with cow dung on both sides of the door on the threshold. After this, anoint these figures by offering milk, vermicelli kheer and ghee. Dedicate Kheer-Puri to the snake god. They are offered a dish made of milk and are wished for the happiness and prosperity of their family and the growth of children.

    तस्मै विषभयं नास्ति सर्वत्र विजयी भवेत्॥
