By the end of Kaliyuga, the age in which we are living, the age of man will remain 12 years and the length is only 2.5 feet.

The beginning of all four yugas was from Satyuga which is called the first yuga. On this basis, Kaliyuga is the last yuga.

SAT YUGA

Satyuga lasted for 1728000 years. In this Yuga, the age of people used to be up to 100000 years and their length was 32 feet. In this era, the amount of sin was 0% and the amount of virtue was 100%.

The incarnation of this era was Vaman Avatar, Parshuram Avatar, and Shri Ram Avatar. The reason for the incarnations was to rescue King Bali and send him to Hades, to kill the arrogant Kshatriyas, and to kill Ravana.

The currency of this era was gold. This Yuga is also known as the Yuga of silver.

DWAPAR YUGA

This period of this Yuga ends when Lord Krishna leaves his body. This era lasted for 864000 years. Kurukshetra is the pilgrimage site of Dwapara Yuga. In this era, the age of man was 1000 years and the length of man was 11 feet. In this era, the amount of sin was 50 percent and the amount of virtue was also 50 percent.

DWAPAR YUGA


The incarnation that took place in Dwapar was Lord Krishna and the reason for the incarnation was the killing of Kansa and the destruction and salvation of many demons.
Silver was the currency in this era. Utensils in this era were made of copper.

KALI YUGA

According to the Puranas, Kali Yuga was born after 35 years when Lord Krishna left his body. This era is of 432000 years. Ganga is the place of pilgrimage of Kaliyug. In this era, the age of a man is 100 years and the length of a man is 5.5 feet. In this age, the amount of sin is 75% and the amount of virtue is 25%.

The incarnation of this era will be Kalki Avatar.
