We have heard of different Eras from the beginning. It is described in the scriptures that there have been four YUGAS of the cycle of time. First Satya Yuga, Second Tretayuga, Third Dwapar Yuga, Fourth Kali Yuga. Today we are going to tell you about those changes in the lifetime of human beings, the important reason for which is considered to be the changing of the four Yugas.

“Yuga means a regular period of time in which the number of years is fixed.”

What Changes Have Taken Place In Each Era?

It is believed, In earlier Eras, the age and length of people were more than that of KaliYuga and In every coming era, the age and length of human beings are decreasing as compared to the previous eras. By the end of Kaliyuga, the age in which we are living, the age of man will remain 12 years and the length is only 2.5 feet.

The beginning of all four yugas was from Satyuga which is called the first yuga. On this basis, Kaliyuga is the last yuga.

SAT YUGA

Satyuga lasted for 1728000 years. In this Yuga, the age of people used to be up to 100000 years and their length was 32 feet. In this era, the amount of sin was 0% and the amount of virtue was 100%.

There are incarnations to take place in this age

There was a reason for the existence of these incarnations the Killing of Shankhasur Hiranyaksha, and Hiranyakashipu.
The currency of this era used to be gems. The utensils used in this era were made of gold.

TRETA YUGA

The end of this era happens when Shri Ram ji leaves his body. Tretayuga lasted for 1296000 years. The pilgrimage place of this era was Naimisharanya. In this era, the age of man was 10000 years and the length of man was 21 feet. In this era, the amount of sin was 25% and the amount of virtue was 75%.

The incarnation of this era was Vaman Avatar, Parshuram Avatar, and Shri Ram Avatar. The reason for the incarnations was to rescue King Bali and send him to Hades, to kill the arrogant Kshatriyas, and to kill Ravana.

The currency of this era was gold. This Yuga is also known as the Yuga of silver.

DWAPAR YUGA

This period of this Yuga ends when Lord Krishna leaves his body. This era lasted for 864000 years. Kurukshetra is the pilgrimage site of Dwapara Yuga. In this era, the age of man was 1000 years and the length of man was 11 feet. In this era, the amount of sin was 50 percent and the amount of virtue was also 50 percent.

The incarnation that took place in Dwapar was Lord Krishna and the reason for the incarnation was the killing of Kansa and the destruction and salvation of many demons.
Silver was the currency in this era. Utensils in this era were made of copper.

KALI YUGA

According to the Puranas, Kali Yuga was born after 35 years when Lord Krishna left his body. This era is of 432000 years. Ganga is the place of pilgrimage of Kaliyug. In this era, the age of a man is 100 years and the length of a man is 5.5 feet. In this age, the amount of sin is 75% and the amount of virtue is 25%.

The incarnation of this era will be Kalki Avatar.
