The mystery of the full moon, the new moon, and the eclipse has been revealed in Hinduism. Apart from this, there are many important days and nights in the year which have a deep impact on the earth and the human mind. Among them, the 2 days that fall in the month are the most important – Purnima and Amavasya. There are 12 full moons and 12 new moons in a year.

According to the Hindu Panchang, the 30 days of the month are divided into two parts of 15-15 days based on the moon phase – Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. The last day of Shukla Paksha is called Purnima and the last day of Krishna Paksha is called Amavasya.

If counted from the beginning, the names of 30 dates are as follows- Purnima (Poornamasi), Pratipada (Padwa), Dwitiya (Duj), Tritiya (Teej), Chaturthi (Chauth), Panchami (Fifth), Shashthi (Chhath), Saptami (Seventh) ), Ashtami (eighth), Navami (ninth), Dashami (Dasam), Ekadashi (guards), Dwadashi (baras), Trayodashi (teras), Chaturdashi (fourteen) and Amavasya (new moon).

According to the Amavasya calendar, the 30th day of the month and the last date of Krishna Paksha is the day when the moon is not visible in the sky. Some or other festival is celebrated on the full moon and new moon of every month, so that these days the person’s attention is towards religion, but what is the secret behind it?

Negative and Positive Powers

According to the value of the earth, there are two types of powers: positive and negative, day and night, good and bad, etc. According to the Hindu religion, the supremacy of both these types of powers has always been there on the earth. According to scientists, the effect of the moon is very strong on this day, due to these reasons, the neuron cells in the blood inside the body become active and in such a situation, the person remains more excited or emotional. The composition of the body of a ghost consists of 25 percent physical atoms and 75 percent etheric atoms. In the same way, 25 percent etheric atom and 75 percent astral atom are used in making the ancestral body.
