Did Egg come first or the Chicken?

Is Egg considered 'Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian?'

I know this topic suddenly came out of nowhere, but I wanted to clear your doubt regarding this subtopic. So it’s Simple! The chicken, no, the egg, no, the chicken, no, the egg. It’s enough to make your head spin right off your neck. Years ago, a bird resembled a chicken. Although genetically similar to a chicken, it wasn’t a full-fledged chicken yet. The proto-hen laid an egg, and the proto-rooster fertilized it. However, when the genes from ma and pa almost-chicken merged, they created a mutation that created a baby that was different from its parents.

The egg was different enough to become the progenitor of a new species, known today as…chicken! In essence (or in an eggshell, if you prefer), two birds that weren’t chickens laid an egg, and the egg then hatched into a chicken.

Are There Two Types of Eggs?

Yes you heard me right, types are not based on color but the composition. The types are:

1.Fertilised Eggs

2. Unfertilised Eggs

Fertilized eggs are produced by the involvement of two gametes, which are formed due to the mating of two roosters. This later forms an Embryo in the egg and the color of the Yolk is slightly darker than the normal Nonfertile eggs. These types of eggs are laid by the parent Broiler breeder and layer breeder.

Fertilized eggs are not available for you and me or, for a commercial purpose. In fact, when these eggs are kept in A machine called Hatchery within 21 days the chicks are out!

Unfertilized eggs on the other hand are laid by layer birds, which means there is NO presence of A male bird on the farm. So you might be wondering how a bird could lay an egg without the male bird? The answer that 80% of Indians don’t know, layer birds automatically lay eggs after 18 weeks once they mature…This means individually they are reared for 1 1/2 to 2 years and lay 450 – 500 eggs. Interesting right!
