The Manifestation Story of RADHARAMAN Deity

“Once Gopal Bhatt Swami went to Muktinath temple in Nepal, Which is one of the main temples of Vaishnava Sect. Gopal Bhatta Swamiji bathed in the Gandaki river located there, and when he filled the river water in his pot, Some Shaligrams came in his pot. He emptied the pot and filled the water again, So this time also the same Shaligram came into the pot, Well this pilgrimage place is famous for Shaligram. He filled the water again and the same thing happened for the third time. Then he thought the same thing is happening again and again, maybe this is the will of the Lord.
Taking it as God’s grace he brought all 12 Shaligrams together to Vrindavan. Where he used to worship those Shaligrams with great love and soul and at night, all the Shaligrams were tied in a cloth and hung from the branch of a Peepal tree, and the next morning they worshiped them again.

Once a Shroff brought Shri Krishna’s clothes and ornaments to Vrindavan and started distributing them to all the Saints. Seth also went to Shri Gopal Bhatt Swamiji and started giving him clothes and Ornaments, But Gopal Bhatt Swamiji had 12 Shaligram stones, which he could neither wear clothes nor ornaments.
Swamiji’s heart thought that I wish his Shaligrams were also in the form of Deity. So he prayed to Krishna with great love O Lord, I also want to decorate you like everyone else, I want to dress you, But you are in the form of Shaligram (a kind of stone), how can you wear clothes and jewelry? I want you to have small hands and feet, and two eyes, you should also have the same shape so that I can do your Shringaar. After praying like this, As usual, he wrapped all the Shaligrams in a cloth and hung them on the tree, and go to sleep.
The next morning he went to take a bath in the Yamuna and came back after taking a bath, then he opened the bundle of Shaligrams and saw that out of those 12 Shaligrams, the chief Damodar Shaligram has taken the form of Deity.”

If we see the back of the Deity of Shri Radharaman Ji, then we get the darshan of Shaligram. which clearly shows that he has appeared from Shaligram stone.

It is called the Lalit Tribhanga form because the one who sees this Deity form of Radharaman Ji gets the vision of Shri Gopinath, Shri Govind, and Shri Madan Mohan simultaneously. If you see this Deity, then the face of God will look like that of Govind Dev Ji. The chest of the Lord will appear like that of Gopinath, and the lotus feet of Madan Mohan.

So the fruit of the vision of all three is obtained from the sight of the same Deity, from the Deity of Radharaman Ji. The deity of Radha Ji is not separate from the deity of Radharaman Ji because, both Radha and Krishna are worshiped here in the temple.

Maha Abhishek of Radharaman Ji is done twice a year. Once on Janmashtami day and once on his appearance day (ɴᴇxᴛ ᴅᴀy ᴏꜰ ɴᴀʀꜱɪᴍʜᴀ ᴄʜᴀᴛᴜʀᴅᴀꜱʜɪ) But both these Mahabhishek takes place in the afternoon, on Janmashtami also, this Mahabhishek takes place only at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The reason behind this is that Radharaman Ji is the smallest lalla in the whole of Vrindavan i.e. has a child form. It is a belief that it is not right to wake the Lord like a small child, that is why his Maha Abhishek is done in the afternoon itself.
