How did the Book of Enoch come into being?

Book of Enoch depicts an alternate history that can be censored out of human understanding, which may be either forgotten by the Ancient people or banned from the scriptures, until now.
It was during the early year of 1946, somewhere in the region named The West Bank, there were a group of Bedouin teenagers, who were taming their sheep and goats. It was near the ancient settlement of Qumran. Around their region, there were certain rocks that they found and littered the rugged desert terrain. Out of that when one such rock was thrown, into a cave that was very much dark, it was of great surprise to the teenagers that they found a loud sound that was nearly shattering. It also had a certain echo from within.

When later they explored what that sound was, they found that there were big jars that had a great collection of large clay, and one of them was broken. These teenagers made this a historic discovery. Also in some jars were a series of ancient scrolls. Years passed when they found this, archeologists, historians, and treasure hunters helped them find additional ancient scrolls fragments, in the other ten caves in their area. They have a composition that formed around 800 to 900 manuscripts, and collectively they are known as the Dead Sea Scrolls. Later among these manuscripts, there were large portions of mysterious non-canonical religious texts, which were long forgotten by the ancient group of people and it was called the Book of Enoch.

But the Book of Enoch chapters is not based on the biblical story of Noah’s ark.

The Book of Enoch provides you with a very different recounting of events that led to the Great Flood during Noah’s time, which is a different doctrine of history. They tell the story of watchers that were explained in the Bible in terms of the fallen Angels. They were sent to earth to watch over Humans and to lead them to the right path.
Apart from all these, that was merely out of watching out over humans. These watchers became infatuated with the human women and in certain orders. They began to engage in depraved sexual acts with them. The Book of Enoch also tells about the children born through these immortal acts by men. That was between the watchers and the humans. They were called the Nephilim, and they were referred to as the Giants, who are man-eaters. These Nephilim were very angry with the watchers for what they have done and those described as Gods that had chained them in a subterranean prison that was deep down the earth.

Enoch Rule Between God and Watchers

Enoch became the intermediate between the Gods and the imprisoned watchers. The book has a description of Enoch’s journey that was between heaven and earth. It also has a description of how he flew within the angels and saw the rivers and the mountains, as they have not seen before. But apart from the intervention of Enoch, God’s decided the atrocity that the earth had become that must be punished. And this punishment was for the great flood that killed the Nephilim and cemented the watchers of the prison. It was before decided that the Enoch would be whisked away to the Heaven in a fiery chariot.

Why the Book of Enoch is not a part of the Bible?

The answer to this is there when we move back to the early centuries that were after the death of Jesus Christ. Far from the rigid canon of 39 old testaments, and 27 new testaments, that we know today, originally have numerous gospels and religious texts that made up the broad spectrum of Christian traditions. This tradition grew higher after the death of Jesus. The burgeoning Christian church needed to know which part of the biblical text should be read and followed, which teachings should be applied, and which text is to be deemed and accepted and had to be deeply inspired.
The church needed to create great uniformity and also an official canon. A certain story may not be accurate as it is, in certain sense somewhere it is accurate. High-ranking members of the church certainly did pick up and choose what to include in the official biblical canon. Later they argued, pulled strings, made cast their opponents as heretics, and almost sought to expand their power. This fight did not stop and lasted long which was between the 1st and 4th centuries. By the end of the 4th century, the process of the problem was complete and the bible was officially set without the Book of Enoch.
The book of Enoch was later considered as scripture that was depicted in the Epistle of Barnabas. Many of the early priests, who gave themself to writing the Book of Enoch, were rejected by the Jews as it contained prophecies about Lord Jesus Christ.
